White-Label Sanity + Next.js Development for Agencies
Senior headless capacity under your brand. Your client sees your agency; I write the code.
I'm a freelance Sanity CMS and Next.js developer working as overflow and white-label capacity for agencies: schemas and Studio, Next.js App Router front ends, migrations, and performance fixes, delivered inside your process.
Based in Surat, India (IST). My working day overlaps European mornings and the US East Coast morning, and everything runs async-first with a staging URL from day one.

How White-Label Works
You stay client-facing
Your client talks to you, not me. When I have a question for the client, I write it up and you decide whether and how to send it, so you stay in control of the relationship.
NDA before details
I sign your NDA before we discuss the client or the project. Whether the work can ever appear in my portfolio is your call, agreed in writing.
Code in your repos
I work in your GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket organisation, or your client's. The Sanity project and hosting accounts belong to you or the client, with me as a collaborator you can remove at any time.
Your branding and tools
Your project board, your Slack or Teams channel, your staging naming, your documentation templates. READMEs and handoff docs are written for your agency's name, not mine.
The split is simple: you own the client, discovery, design, and sign-off. I own the Sanity schemas, Studio configuration, the Next.js front end, performance, and deployment. I go into more detail in how white-label Next.js development works for agencies.

Engagement Options
Weekly 1-day block
One day a week of senior Sanity + Next.js engineering on a regular day. Suits ongoing maintenance, small features, Studio fixes, and performance work across your client sites.
Quoted per scope
Weekly 3-day block
Three days a week for active builds. Enough to carry a full Sanity + Next.js project alongside your designers and project manager, with continuity from one week to the next.
Quoted per scope
Fixed-price project
A defined build, migration, or audit priced up front, so you can quote your own client with confidence. These use the same packages my direct clients buy, listed below.
See packages below
Retainer blocks are quoted per scope after a short call, based on the stack, how many client projects are involved, and how much support you need around launches. If I don't have capacity for your timeline, I'll say so before you commit.

Communication & Time Zones
Most white-label arrangements fail on communication, not code. These are set up before the first commit.
Europe
IST runs 3.5 to 5.5 hours ahead of the UK and central Europe, depending on the season. My afternoon is your morning, so questions get answered the same working day.
US East Coast
IST runs 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead of US Eastern time. I plan my day so the end of it overlaps your morning, and work done in my day is waiting when you start yours.
Async-first
Short written updates at an agreed rhythm that you can forward to your client, questions batched so nothing waits on a call, and a staging URL from day one.
One shared channel inside your Slack or Teams workspace
Tasks on your project board, each with an owner and acceptance note
An agreed overlap window for calls, set at the start
Escalation rules: what counts as urgent and the expected response time
05
Handoff Standards
What you receive at the end of every project
Code in a repository owned by your agency or your client, never my personal account
Sanity project and hosting (such as Vercel) owned by the client, with me as a removable collaborator
A README covering local setup, environment variables, deploys, and how revalidation works
Typed schemas and TypeGen-generated query types the next developer can read
A short Studio guide for editors, written for non-technical users
Core Web Vitals checked on production, not just on the staging URL
Your client should be able to run the site, and another developer should be able to pick it up, without calling me. The full list is in my Sanity project handover checklist.

Agency Questions
01
What does white-label development mean for my agency?
+−
I build under your agency's name. Your client deals with you, and I work in your repositories, tools, and process. You own the client relationship, discovery, design, and sign-off; I own the Sanity schemas, Studio, Next.js front end, performance, and deployment. Content modelling is shared, because that's where design and engineering meet.
02
How much does a white-label retainer cost?
+−
Weekly 1-day and 3-day blocks are quoted per scope after a short call, because the right number depends on the stack and how many client projects are involved. For defined projects, my fixed-price packages start at $4,000 for a Sanity + Next.js build, $3,000 for a migration to Sanity, and $800 for a performance and Sanity audit, which is useful when you need a firm number to quote your client.
03
Will you sign an NDA and stay invisible to our client?
+−
Yes. I'll sign your NDA before we discuss the client or the project. I don't contact your clients directly unless you set that up, and if you want me on a client call, I join as part of your team.
04
Who owns the code and the accounts?
+−
Your agency or your client, from day one. The repository, the Sanity project, and the hosting account sit in your organisation or your client's, with me added as a collaborator. Nothing lives in my personal accounts, so a handoff, or replacing me, is painless.
05
How do you handle time zones?
+−
I'm in Surat, India (IST). My afternoon overlaps European mornings, and I plan my day so the end of it overlaps the US East Coast morning. Work runs async-first with written updates and a staging URL from day one, so your team rarely waits on me to see progress.
06
Can we start with a small project first?
+−
Yes, and I'd recommend it. A performance and Sanity audit or a single landing page is a low-risk way to see how I communicate, handle feedback, and write code before you commit to a retainer.
